Two NFL Games This Weekend With Interesting Spreads

The Bills finished 2020 dominant at home, while the Saints have struggled in the beginning of recent seasons. Keep an eye on these two lines 🏈👇 (3 minute read)

The Bills At Home

The Bills ended their strong 2020 campaign with a 13-3 record, earning them the second seed in the AFC for their eventual playoff run. Buffalo finished 7-1 at home in the regular season with some impressive wins

  • Beat the Rams in Week 3, 35-32

  • Beat the Seahawks in Week 9, 44-34

  • Beat the Steelers in Week 14, 26-15

  • Beat the Dolphins in Week 17, 56-26

If we include the playoffs, the Bills have won seven straight games at home, as they took down the Colts and the Ravens in the postseason

  • AFC Wild-Card Round: beat Indianapolis 27-24

  • AFC Divisional Round: beat Baltimore 17-3

The Bills host the Steelers at home in Week 1, take a look at the odds 👇

  • Kickoff: Sunday at 1pm EST

  • Spread: Buffalo -6.5

  • Moneyline: Bills -280 (bet $280, win $100)

While Buffalo hasn’t covered spread in all of their last ten home games, their only loss came against the Chiefs in Week 6. KC also sent the Bills home in the AFC Championship game, but that was played at Arrowhead Stadium. Including the Bills ML in any parlays this weekend looks like a smart use of funds

The Steelers are tough to get a read on. They won their first 11 games last year, but ultimately dropped five of their final six, including a disappointing first-round playoff defeat against the Cleveland Browns

The Saints in Weeks 1 & 2

The Saints have won the NFC South four years in a row, but from a gambling perspective, they’ve struggled in the first two weeks of the season

  • Record in Weeks 1 & 2 since 2017: 3-5

  • Record against the spread in their last 19 Week 1 & 2 games: 3-16

What’s interesting about New Orleans is that they’ve won 11+ games in each season dating back to 2017. They might come out of the gate slowly, but they have consistently bounced back

However, this season is different, as Drew Brees is gone, Michael Thomas is a question-mark and Jameis Winston is under center. Here’s how Vegas is setting the line for their Week 1 matchup vs the Packers 👇

  • Kickoff: Sunday at 4:25pm EST

  • Spread: Saints +4.5

  • Moneyline: Saints +175

Taking the Packers -4.5 on the road might feel risky, but history is on their side. Plus, it just feels like another dominant year from Aaron Rodgers is upon us

The Allen x Rodgers Parlay

If you trust the analytics, then consider this parlay for Week 1 of the 2021 NFL season

  • Bills ML vs the Steelers (-280)

  • Packers -4.5 vs the Saints (-110)

  • Odds: +160 (bet $100, win $160)

Nothing is ever a given on a Sunday, but hopefully this W sets you up nicely for the Sunday and Monday night games to follow

  • Sunday Night Football: Bears vs Rams

  • Spread: Rams -7.5

  • Monday Night Football: Ravens vs Raiders

  • Spread: Ravens -4.5
