🏈 Two Extremely Bad Teams

Panthers vs. Bears, somebody save us! This has to be the worst primetime game of the season, but at least there's the storyline of Chicago owning Carolina's 2024 first round pick. The O/U is set to a whopping 38.5, so don't expect much action. For some reason this feels like a must win for Bryce Young 💀 (2 min read)

Battle of the Bad

We've got an interesting matchup tonight, and by interesting I mean horrible. Two of the NFL’s worst will clash in Chicago, as the 2-7 Bears enter the building as 3-point favorites against the 1-7 Carolina Panthers. According to Tankathon, Chicago currently owns the second and third picks of the next draft because of their trade with Carolina last season, so honestly from a tank perspective it doesn’t really matter who wins this games 😅

Back to that trade - last year the Bears sent the No. 1 overall pick (Bryce Young) in the 2023 draft to the Panthers in exchange for D.J. Moore and four draft picks. Considering how good CJ Stroud has been and the talent in the 2024 draft, it’s not looking like it’s going to play out well for Carolina 😳

The Panthers are obviously wondering if moving up in the 2023 draft, passing on Stroud, and losing out on what could be Caleb Williams or Drake Maye next year was worth it. To make matters even worse, either of these QBs could fall right into the Bear's hands if they decide it’s time to move on from Fields. But that would just restart a process that has become all too familiar for a desperate Chicago fanbase 😓

One bright spot for the Bears has been CB Jaylon Johnson, who is playing at an all-pro level this season. Factor in the extension of Montez Sweat, and maybe Chicago’s defense can be a positive from a somewhat lost season 🙏

With Fields officially out, it’s back to Tyson Bagent, who has shown highs and lows. Bagent has come out hot each game he’s started - in the first quarter of Weeks 7, 8 and 9, he's posted a 98.6 passer rating, but cooled off quickly as the game progressed, throwing 2x as many interceptions (6) than TDs (3) after the first 15 min 🤮

After Panther’s embarrassing Week 9 loss to the Colts, which included not one, but two pick-sixes from the Young, all Carolina can hope for is signs of improvement. Young's starting position remains secure, but the subpar QB play from both teams tonight gives us the extremely low point total of 38.5. Do you have the stones to take the under? 💀

  • Spread: Bears -3

  • Moneyline: Bears -174, Panthers +146

  • O/U: 38.5

For My Parlay Gurus

I’m honestly not sure if I even want to bet on this game it’s so bad. But when times are tough we persevere and do something crazy. In this case, crazy is betting on a 1-7 team on the road and adding in an over that would easily hit for any other teams - we’ll see about these two though. Take a look 👇

  • Panthers +3 @ Bears: -104

  • OVER 38.5 Total Points Scored: -110

$100 on this bet would win you $230 — if we hit, make sure you email [email protected] for a chance to win up to $100*. Many will enter, only some will win 😉
