Top-25 Showdowns

You know itā€™s a loaded Saturday of college football when two of the sportā€™s most storied programs are facing off in one of the countryā€™s oldest stadiumsā€¦and it isnā€™t even the best game of the day šŸ˜Ž

  • Did we mention that those teams also boast two of the nationā€™s best QBs? Caleb Williams and the Trojans taking on Sam Hartman and the Irish is definitely must-watch TV, regardless of the weatherā€¦

ā€¦but then again, thereā€™s almost too much action. All said, thereā€™s four Top-25 battles going down on Saturday, including a Top-8 showdown I told you to mark on your calendars weeks ago. Take a look for yourself šŸ‘‡

  • 3:30PM EST: #8 Oregon (+118) @ #7 Washington (-142)

  • 7:30PM EST: #10 USC (+118) @ #21 Notre Dame (-142)

  • 7:30PM EST: #25 Miami (+158) @ #12 UNC (-192)

  • 8:00PM EST: #18 UCLA (+152) @ #15 Oregon State (-184)

On the topic of stud QBs facing off against each other, youā€™d be hard-pressed to find a more electric arms race than the one about to go down out in Washington. We already gave you an introduction to both the Huskiesā€™ Michael Penix Jr. and the Ducksā€™ Bo Nix, but since then itā€™s been more of the same for the two Heisman contenders šŸ’Ŗ

Penix (+200) and Nix (+600) have a prime opportunity to make their award case on the big stage, and you can expect your weekly share of drool-worthy highlights from Caleb Williams (+225) as well. But I promise, not every elite college quarterback plays in the PAC-12ā€¦one happens to be turning Chapel Hill into a football town šŸ˜Ž

  • Sophomore Drake Maye may not have as much Heisman buzz (+1800) as his west coast counterparts, but he sure is getting attention from NFL scoutsā€¦especially after a dominant performance this past weekend šŸ’Ŗ

Maye and the undefeated Tar Heels will face their toughest test of the season so far when Miami comes to town, and to say the Hurricanes are looking for redemption would be an understatement. Simply put, their loss on Saturday was absolutely inexcusable šŸ˜¬

Thatā€™s gotta be a borderline fireable offense, and it cost us the chance to watch a battle of unbeatens this weekend. But this matchup still has massive implications for a surging UNC team thatā€™s starting to creep into the CFP conversation šŸ‘€

  • Last but not certainly not least, donā€™t sleep on an under-the-radar meeting between a pair of dark horses in the PAC-12. UCLA is fresh off an impressive win over #13 Washington State, and remember DJ Uiagalelei from Clemson? Safe to say the new OSU threads are serving him well šŸ˜¤

In case you forgot, last Saturdayā€™s action was absolutely electric, and if a loaded slate of ranked matchups this time around is any indication, it looks like weā€™re due for one heck of an encore šŸæ

For My Parlay Gurus

Michael Penix Jr. is the Heisman favorite, Caleb Williams is a lock to hear his name called first in the NFL Draft, and smart money is on Drake Maye going immediately after. Thatā€™s the kind of QB talent I can get behind ā€” Iā€™m taking all three to win this week. Check out this parlay šŸ‘‡

  • Washington ML vs. Oregon: -142
