🏈 Bears Have Lost 13 Straight
Tonight's edition of TNF features a winless Chicago squad vs. a feisty Sam Howell-led Commanders team. Neither team opened as that big a favorite, so expect a high-scoring affair in this one. Can Chicago snap their win streak, or will Washington get back on track? 🐻 (2 min read)
Numbers On The Board
What the two teams in this week’s edition of TNF lacks is defense. The Bears are winless this season and currently riding a 13-game losing streak, while the Commanders have allowed their opponents to score at least 33 points in their last three games. Could this be an explosive night on the scoreboard in Washington? 👀

Not to pile onto Justin Fields, who has had a rough start to the 2023 season, but wins have been hard to come by in Chicago for over a decade. But, the Commanders haven’t exactly been world beaters either, despite their success against the Bears 🐻
In their last five matchups, Washington has taken home the W four times
Last year’s contest between the two teams was a rock fight, ending in a 12-7 win for the Commanders
I know it was incomplete but can we talk about this throw from Sam Howell

Both teams enter tonight with a little desperation. The Bears would obviously like to secure a win, but another loss helps in the race for Caleb Williams. Meanwhile, the Commanders are coming off a weekend where they almost dealt the Eagles their first loss of the season…theoretically they could’ve entered tonight 3-1. If you’re a Chicago fan, do you want to lose and get this? 👇

Brian Robinson Jr. is in his second season with the Commanders, but began his rookie year in nearly tragic fashion, shot twice in the leg during an attempted robbery. The second year back has been off to a solid start, especially in a win against the Broncos in Week 2 - he looks poised to have another big game 😤
During wins, Robinson averages nearly 18 rush attempts per game. The run game has punished the Bears this season — RBs have the 6th most attempts against their defense so far
Robinson also receives a bulk of the rushing duties, accounting for almost 80% of the team’s rush shares
From down 21-3 to in the lead.
